AMAQHAWE ASSET MANAGEMENT SOLUTION has worked with several companies amongst them are municipalities and private companies . Leading the development of Operation and Maintenance Strategies to deal with maintenance issues which has been giving the District Municipalities challenges when it comes to service delivery regarding water supply and waste water management. AMAQHAWE provided practical engineering services and expertise in implementing good maintenance strategies and practices. Amaqhawe Asset Management is also driving the maintenance business to focus on preventative maintenance to provide sustainable and reliable water supply and servicecs

Our first district is UMkhanyakude District Municipalities (UDM), which services the following municipalities:

• Hlabisa Local Municipalities
• Jozini Local Municipalitity
• Mhlabuyalingana Local Municipality
• Mtubatuba Municipality
• BIG 5 Municipality

UMkhanyakude is at an initial phase of asset evaluation and with the objective to achieve a full turnaround strategy to move from reactive maintenance to preventative maintenance. Both parties are working together to achieve this common objective.

Another district of AMAQHAWE ASSET MANAGEMENT SOLUTION was Sisonke District Municipality where Amaqhawe ASSET MANAGEMENT did the complete condition assessment for the District and generated asset evaluation reports regarding asset conditions and provided professional advice regarding the strategy required to achieve a complete turnaround from breakdown maintenance to preventative maintenance. Amaqhawe Asset Management scope was limited to asset evaluation and providing possible strategies to achieve turnaround maintenance. There is hope that further engagement will develop to help the Sisonke District achieve its full objective.
